Financial Assistance Information

We believe all children should have the opportunity to attend Camp Blue Spruce programs regardless of economic limitations. We offer financial assistance to families who would otherwise not be able to afford to register their children for our fee-based programs.

Guidelines:

All recipients contribute what they can to the cost of their involvement. Financial assistance can be as much as full tuition and as little as $100. For Overnight Camp, all applicants are required to pay at least the $150 camp deposit.

Financial assistance is based on financial need, family circumstances, demand, and available funds. We consider the Federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Income Guidelines but are not rigid in determining allocations. Our goal is to get kids to camp!

Funds are the result of the generosity of Camp Blue Spruce donors and and the Dr. Dan DeMerell Memorial Fund. (Click here to learn more about Dr. DeMerell.). Awards are made without regard to race, religion, gender identity, age or any other legally protected status.

All decisions are made in the strictest confidence by an impartial review committee.

To apply for financial assistance families must register for the program and complete the financial assistance application when registering.
