Camp Blue Spruce provides experiences for kids with food allergies where they can be independent, confident, and care-free. The Camp Blue Spruce website provides information about our programming and opportunities to volunteer or work with our programs. It also provides links to register and pay for our programs, to apply to volunteer or work, and to make a donation. The registration, volunteer/employment and payment portals are provided through CampBrain, Bamborra, PayPal, and Square secure, third-party services.

The Information We Collect and Why We Collect It
You may browse Camp Blue Spruce’s website without submitting personal information. However, if you choose to sign up for one of our e-mail lists, make a donation, volunteer, purchase products, or participate in an event, contest, or program, you may be asked for applicable personal data. The purpose of collecting such data is to assist Camp Blue Spruce in contacting individuals and to collect payments made online. Camp Blue Spruce also uses this personal information to advise users of new programs, materials, activities, and events.
Contact and Registration Forms
Some personal information is gathered when you complete online registration forms. We ask for your name, e-mail address, child’s age and grade, address, city, state, zip code, and phone number. For employment information requests, we may ask for work experience, education, and references. We also collect personal information at other times, including (but not limited to) requests for camp or job availability. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information.
Your Child’s Privacy
The safety of children is our primary concern, and we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
In order to register your child in Camp Blue Spruce activities, we will collect your child’s personal information such as name, allergies, date of birth, gender, and postal address.
Camp Blue Spruce does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have collected any information from a child under 13, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to us or anyone else over the Internet.
Minors under 18 years old, or their parents, may request the removal of information by contacting email@example.com. Upon such request, Camp Blue Spruce will anonymize or remove any content posted by a minor, unless required by law to retain such content or information.

How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

E-mail to Users who have submitted a Request for Information: Individuals who have requested specific information from Camp Blue Spruce such as, but not limited to, inquiries about programming are agreeing that Camp Blue Spruce may contact them by e-mail. Users may opt out of e-mails from Camp Blue Spruce.
